Arrangement for Soprano, Tenor and Wind Octet
The masterpiece by Giuseppe Verdi is here arranged in a chamber version (about 75 min.), for soprano and tenor accompanied by a Wind Octet. During fifteen scenes, taking the chronology of the original opera, the two soloists will perform famous arias and duets of the two lovers Violetta and Alfredo ; while the Wind Octet, playing sometimes the role of the orchestra, sometimes the role of the chorus (Gypsy merchants…), will incarnate a third character so important in the drama, Giorgio Germont, dark and manipulative baritone.
